Dorney Court

Conveniently located just outside London, Dorney Court near Windsor regularly welcomes film and drama companies.  The interior layout of the house has changed little since 1500s, and the exterior has medieval and Victorian influences.

When Dorney Court was chosen to feature as the location for films like Elizabeth: The Golden Age starring Cate Blanchett, The Other Boleyn Girl with Emily Blunt and Made of Honour co-starring Patrick Dempsey and Michelle Monaghan, Helen James Productions was on hand to capture behind the scenes news on how versatile and authentic this location could be.

Dorney Court has been in the private ownership of the direct descendants of Sir James Palmer who acquired it in 1624.  It is now owned by Jill Palmer, who lives there with her three children.  The Manor house is open to the public for much of the year; particular highlights include the historic English country home with family portraits, furniture and attractive gardens.
