Inspector Lewis aka actor Kevin Whately walked Helen around the Reading mansion once owned by Pink Floyd’s Dave Gilmore, during the latest series of ITV1’s top-rated drama of 2008.   It’s the second time Helen James Productions has interviewed Kevin about the popular series.  Helen also talked to Lewis’ side kick Laurence Fox (DS James Hathaway) about his new baby with Billie Piper, also Joanna Lumley who plays Esme Ford, a middle-aged rock chick, and David Hayman who’s better known as DCS Mike Walker in Lynda La Plante’s Trial and Retribution, but here plays another ageing rock band member, Richie Maguire.

Although the new series of Lewis has now concluded the drama has been re-commissioned, so watch this space for more news of Oxford’s troubled but most unassuming crime investigator.
