Meryl Streep - Doubt

This was the second time that Helen James Productions has interviewed Meryl Streep, this time for her role as Sister Aloysius Beauvier in the gripping drama, Doubt.   She co-stars in this alongside Amy Adams and Philip Seymour Hoffman. 

She picked up three nominations for an Oscar, BAFTA and a Golden Globe (her second nomination – her first being for Mamma Mia!) and talked of her surprise and shock when she receives award nominations, and how if she does win one she keeps them on the top shelf – so that “no one can play with them!” 

She is of course one of the most respected actors in Hollywood having received more Academy  and Golden Globe nominations of any other actor in the history of either award.
