Midsomer Murders

News that Midsomer Murders' star John Nettles is to quit the series at the end of 2010 is very sad indeed, but it won’t come before he’s finished filming the final episodes of series 12, and a further 8 episodes for series 13 for Bentley Productions and ITV.

Helen James Productions caught up with John, who plays DCI Tom Barnaby in Buckinghamshire where filming was taking place on the latest series, to talk to him about playing the detective in a fictional county that’s the murder capital of Britain!

No one is looking forward to DCI Barnaby handing in his police badge, but solving more than 200 murders is not a bad clear up rate.  Perhaps that’s why this drama has been sold to every territory across the world!
