Health and Safety Policy Statement

Helen James Productions Ltd recognises the importance of health and safety management within all workplace and production activities. Helen James Productions Ltd understands that the health and safety risks inherent in the operation of its business need to be managed appropriately so that they are reduced to the lowest level reasonably practicable.

To achieve this Helen James Productions Ltd will ensure that:

• Helen James Productions Ltd conducts its business so as to ensure so far as reasonably practicable the health, safety and welfare of employees, contractors and other persons affected by the business;
• Risk assessments are used as planning tools within the risk and health and safety management process for all appropriate aspects of the business involving health and safety risks;
• All contractors and freelancers engaged by Helen James Productions Ltd will be asked to provide evidence that they have the necessary skills training to undertake their roles and manage their own health and safety including any appropriate health and safety management responsibility;
• Helen James Productions Ltd will communicate and encourage open dialogue with contractors and freelancers on health and safety matters to ensure safe working practice, as set out in Helen James Productions Health and Safety guidance document;
• Risk management and review of health and safety arrangements and procedures will take place on a regular basis.

Helen James Productions Ltd will work where necessary with Health and Safety professionals to maintain its health and safety management system, enabling Helen James Productions Ltd to achieve the goals set out above.
