Wire In The Blood

Helen James Productions interviewed British actor Robson Green on the set of the sixth series of crime drama Wire in the Blood, produced by Coastal Productions. Robson who plays clinical psychologist Tony Hill was clearly at ease as he chatted to Helen James. In Wire in the Blood 6 he once again teams up with tough Detective Inspector Alex Fielding played by Simone Lahbib.

Simone Lahbib is also perhaps better known for her role as the prison governor at HM Larkhall in Bad Girls made by Shed Media.  It was too good an opportunity to miss, so we also asked Simone about her reflections 10 years after Bad Girls in which she gained notoriety for her lesbian affair with an inmate at the fictional prison. Sadly after the conclusion of Wire in the Blood 6, ITV Drama cancelled commissioning any more episodes, many of which were filmed in Newcastle, because of cost.  However you can see re-runs on ITV3 and an adaptation is being developed by CBS Television Studios and Dreamworks Television for audiences in North America.
